Objective
The preparation of reference materials to support the wine process and its final certification.
Description
The FONDEF project “Research, Development and Production of Wine Reference Materials: An effective Way to Improve the Quality and Competitivity of the Chilean Wine Industry (2003-2005)” will carry out research, development and production of internationally recognized reference materials, contributing to the product’s production and certification process.
Expected Results
Preparation of 8 wine reference materials with parameters that are of interest for the product’s certification and production process.

Vinyards Santa Carolina, San Esteban, Santa Inés de Martino, Tarapacá, Morandé, Macul, Córpora, Aresti and international metrology institutions such as LGC (England), NRC (Canada) and NIST (U.S.A.). Inspection Agency: Agriculture and Livestock Service, SAG.
